Do I need a motorcycle licence to rent a bike?
Yes. You must have a valid BC motorcycle learner’s licence (Class 6L or 8L) for a Test Day Rental, and a full Class 6 licence for a pleasure rental.
Do I need my own helmet?
A DOT approved helmet is legally required. A full-face helmet is available at no extra cost.
Can I practice before my test?
Yes, you can choose an MST rental package that includes practice, or add a full lesson if you want more structured training.
Where do we meet on test day?
We meet directly at the test location for convenience and simplicity. If your rental includes practice time, we’ll meet at a nearby practice area first, then head to the test centre together.
What happens if it rains?
Rentals run in all weather conditions unless ICBC cancels your test. If your test is cancelled, we simply reschedule your rental at no charge.
